Vote Like Your Life Depends On It, Biden for President

As a Senior Producer for the Biden/Harris Presidential Campaign I was asked to pull together a massive spot with Michelle Obama, remotely, at the height of the pandemic. With the help of our East Coast counterparts we were able to coordinate the whole shoot from conception to completion in 13 days. I directed and produced a twenty-three minute piece titled “Michelle Obama’s Closing Argument” which immediately garnered global news coverage. The campaign then asked me to edit the long-form piece into a shorter commercial spot, which we titled “Vote Like Your Life Depends on It.”

From Wednesday to Miercoles, Netflix

Conceptualized by Alexis Tirado at ConTodo Netflix, the creation of this 20-second social asset was a dream collaboration from the get-go. I directed, produced, and edit the piece. In order to achieve the level of authenticity necessary to execute the project to the same standard of the show Wednesday, I helped source a mostly minority, majority Latinx crew. Their collective expertise and personal experiences helped everything to go off without a hitch. In addition to the video assets, we were also able to capture additional still assets for ConTodo using the same model/sets. I’m proud to say that this video was one of ConTodo’s top performing pieces of content, garnering over 1 million views in less than 24 hours.

Mom & Pop, Latinx Heritage Month, Hulu

This was a project near and dear to my heart as it was part of Hulu’s Latinx Heritage Month campaign done in partnership with ATTN:. I was tasked with directing three episodes of Mom & Pop, a unique format which includes both unscripted interviews and scripted narrative elements. We worked with an almost entirely Latinx crew, and were able to make three different videos that I am extremely proud to have been a part of.

Unboxing Wakanda Forever , Target LIVE

Done in collaboration with StageTen, this 30-minute co-branded livestream for Target LIVE and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was a fun and fast-paced project that significantly expanded the scope of my live experience. One example being that four hours before the show, due to an unforeseen illness, we switched the format of the show from two hosts to one host. For this project I developed, directed, and co-wrote the script, working seamlessly with client, crew, and talent to create a dynamic and memorable shopping experience.
