Frequently Asked Questions

Hey aren’t you that girl from BuzzFeed?

I am in fact that girl, or one of them. I worked at BuzzFeed from 2014 to 2019. I started there as an intern and left as a Senior Producer, and on-camera talent, for one of BuzzFeed’s biggest female-focused brands, Ladylike.

So, do you only direct internet videos/ commercials?

No actually. I graduated from Chapman University, who has one of the best hands-on approaches to filmmaking. So my time at Chapman, in addition to BuzzFeed, has left me very well-rounded as a filmmaker. To me, “internet videos” aren’t a different type of content, but rather just another medium through which you can reach your audience. And the more avenues of communication you understand, the better chance you have at launching a successful campaign.

Since you worked as a producer, can I hire you to produce a project of mine?

While I always bring my experience as a producer into any directing job, I am currently only booking directing jobs. But if your job is a combination of producing and directing, then let’s chat!

Cats or dogs?

Both! I’m a firm believer in not having to choose one over the other. In fact, I would also add sharks and dinosaurs to that question. They’re all cool to me.
